Playing the HQ Trivia mobile app is super fun -- just about everybody will attest to that. But one can argue that playing the HQ Trivia mobile app is actually more super fun when you are still playing (that is, not eliminated yet during the course of a game). So there is no doubt that players everywhere are already starting to wonder -- is it ever possible to get, maybe, an extra life?
It turns out that the folks behind the highly addictive trivia mobile game knows the agony of not being able to go the distance during an HQ Trivia session, and are now doing something about it. Just this week, HQ Trivia is starting the roll out a new feature that rewards those who play the game most frequently. This new feature is called Streaks, and specifically, it awards to extra lives to people who play multiple sessions in a row.
They say that the simplest ideas are always the best, and Streaks is a pretty neat and easy concept. But perhaps the best thing about it is that it presents a genuine win-win situation for both mobile users and HQ Trivia. For players, they need only play multiple games (and we kind of suspect that some die hard fans out there are actually already doing this on a regular basis), and then earn the chance to get extra lives.
Okay, so how do interested parties get started in grabbing those extra lives? They simply need to check their HQ Trivia mobile app if the update has already arrived. To do, they can tap on the Get More button on the interface. For those who find themselves qualified for a free extra life, they will be able to see the number of successive days they need to play in order to become eligible for the reward. According to a recent report published by Engadget, players will need to play for five straight days, which should be a walk in the park for those already regularly playing.
For any player, how long they last during a live game session typically depends on how good their memory is (or how fast they can google) or the strength of their support crew (which applies to those who like to play HQ Trivia in groups), or maybe how lucky they are in guessing. Suffice it to say that in any session, the questions expectedly become trickier to navigate after the halfway mark. Needless to say, this is where an extra life comes very, very handy indeed.
